Be a force for change in the world.The food choices at social events are often high in fat and calories, yet "etiquette" dictates you indulge. Many of the people around you would prefer not to be "cheating" on their eating plans either. What can you do about this insanity?
You can host enjoyable social events that center on things other than eating. And when food is a "must" at an event, you can serve healthy foods that you love. You can heighten awareness of healthy foods and portion sizes by being an example. You can change your own environment to suit you. You can be a gentle, but vocal example, who inspires those around you to change.
