Journal

So here we are again - finally up to date. I have had a week now of being alot more careful about what I am eating, and drinking. I have stopped all added sugar and sweetener, and I am watching the carbs. Making protein count - and no snacking. Last wednesday tipped me over the edge somewhat as I weighed in at 115.2 kgs......which is far too much in the wrong direction. So yesterday when I weighed and was 110.6 kgs you can imagine how happy I was with that. A huge 4.6 kgs loss, and I am 3.5 years post op. This morning it was up by 100 gms, and I think I can put that down to a salty-ish meal last night. I am hoping that will drop off over this week along with maybe another kg.

I am pretty determined to get back down to  the weight I was before I got sick and went on steroids, which was 101 kgs. I am hoping my specialist will drop my drugs down further and one step closer to being steroid free!!!

The NAWLS Small bite for today is

Journal.
Sometimes you may feel you need to sort out your thoughts and feelings, but you really don't want to sharethem with others. Maybe you feel too vulnerable or too confused. A journal can provide a safe outlet - a private place to think and explore. Putting your thoughts down on paper helps you gain some perspective on your life. A journal will help you remember when you've been, and show you how you've evolved.

Journaling will take you into yourself and help you understand your inner needs and desires. Then, journaling will lead you to a new place by helping you build a foundation form which you can venture out into the world a stronger and more centered person.

Action for the day.
If you haven't done it yet, begin journaling today. If  you keep it up, it will changeyour life - guaranteed.
