Let go to move forward

Oops - I missed a day. I was still not well yesterday and then we went out last night and by the time we got home I was far too tired to post. So you will just get multiple posts from me today. 

So the January 21st NAWLS Small Bite is.

Let go to move forward.
When you hold on to resentment you cause yourself to stress. You also take your focus away from your goals. Your grudges can distract you without even solving a past wrong.

You may be holding a grudge against a person who is not even aware that you are hurt. You could be wasting valuable energy and mental power on an issue that has no bearing on your future. It's time to seek understanding, forgive, and move on. 

Action for the day:
In your journal, write about any lingering resentments. Resolve to do what is necessary fo ryou to forgive and move on. Seek help if you need it.

Now this is one that I think I have a pretty good handle on after going to the More to Life Weekend last year. I don't think I hold onto things, and I usually see that a person is coming from their persepctive. I think it comes back to remember that we are all "just extra's in someone elses movie" as Simon sometimes says.
